The onezie is as uniquely baby as diapers. They function to provide warmth and hold diapers, in particular cloth diapers which tend to be bulkier and heavier, in place without sagging. The most important measurement for the onezie is the "length" which you get by putting on a t-shirt and diaper, then measure from the collar in the back down through the legs and up the front to the collar. divide this number in two and that is your "length." Compare it to the size charts for fit. The onezie is very stretchy and will accommodate a wide range of waist and bust sizes. When your onezie arrives, it will seem too large. You can check it before you wash it by putting it on and pinching the excess fabric between your legs. A 4" tab is about how much it will shrink when laundered. You might need a friend or parent to help you measure.

Use a cloth measuring tape to compare your measurements to the table. You may need assistance to get accurate measurements. These are garment sizes are after washing and drying.

When your garment arrives, it may seem too large. The organic cotton has significant shrinkage which has been taken into consideration for these chart sizes.

Please use the dimensions in this size chart to measure YOUR body. These are not meant to be used to infer the size of a product which has been shipped to you. Because of the nature of double knit cotton, it is possible to arrive at nearly any dimension, most of which are not true garment dimensions.

WAIST is measured at the navel.
CHEST is measured just below the arm pits.
LENGTH is measured with a t-shirt and diapers on. Start at the neckline in the back and pass your tape down between your legs, over your diapers and up to the neckline in front. Divide this number in two for the comparison number to the table.

Onezies are not pre-shrunk. Follow this size chart to assist you in size selection. Be sure to wash your new onezie several times to achieve these shrunk sizes.
